Tracking Your Visibility

How to read the visibility matrix, citation data, and entity analysis after a run.

Once you’ve run a prompt set, AISpy records who and what each model cited. This page covers how to interpret those results.

The visibility matrix

The matrix gives you an at-a-glance view of which domains were cited across every model and prompt. Rows are domains; columns are models. A filled cell means that domain was cited for at least one of your tracked prompts.

Citations vs. language mentions

AISpy distinguishes between two signals:

  • Citations — a URL the model linked to or referenced as a source.
  • Language mentions — your brand or a competitor named in the response text, even without a link.

Tracking both matters because users are less likely to click links in an AI answer than in a traditional search result, so a brand mention can be as valuable as a citation.

Follow-on questions

For any response, you can ask a follow-up question using any model you choose — classify sentiment, extract every brand mentioned, or summarise the answer. This is how you turn raw responses into structured analysis.
